Boîte à Fleurs

Boîte à Fleurs (Flower Box) is a 2-story foursquare building located on Principale Street in Tracadie-Sheila. This cedar-shingled building has a bay window on either side of the front door and a dormer in the attic.

Boîte à Fleurs is designated a Local Historic Place for being a well preserved example of foursquare structure and detail.

Boîte à Fleurs was constructed circa 1945 by its owner at the time, Hilarion Godin. The foursquare design of the house has remained almost unchanged since it was built, including the siding and the dormer. Many of the house's original interior elements have been carefully preserved, including the hardwood, which is remarkably solid.
