Hon. George Stillman Hill Home

Hon. George Stillman Hill House is a two-storey representation of Neo-Classical residential architecture. It is located on King Street in St. Stephen.

Hon. George Stillman Hill House was built in 1838 for former New Brunswick MLA, the Hon. George Stillman Hill, and his wife, Sarah Upton. It is an example of two-storey Neo-Classical residential architecture from this period in St. Stephen. The architecture has remained the same since the time it was built.

Hon. George Stillman Hill was a lawyer and an MLA for 25 years. The Hill family were prominent in the retail business of St. Stephen and in the Provincial Legislature. The Hill family occupied the home for 145 years.
