Smith House

Smith House is an excellent example of a single storey wood frame house built in the 1930s located on the southeast corner of Elliott Street and Earley Avenue in West Quesnel, B.C. The historic place includes the building and the parcel of land it occupies.

Smith House is located in West Quesnel and holds cultural and social value as an example of the development of a rural community with small houses and family farms and was typical of the residential designs of the time and place. The house is a physical reminder of the people who shaped the development of Quesnel. The house was named for Mr. Smith, a well known member of the community.
