Martello House

Martello House is an attractive single storey farmhouse built in 1935 located on the south side of Hill Street in West Quesnel, BC. The historic place includes the building and the parcel of land it occupies.

Martello House holds social and cultural value as a physical reminder of the people who shaped the development of Quesnel. It has been owned and lived in by multiple, prominent community members illustrating the change in the community over time. This includes Alfred Lust, Chow Dong, and Frank and Elvire Martello.
