Albion Street Inn

The Albion Street Inn is a square two storey yellow house located on a treed lot in Alberton, PEI. The house has a symmetrical design with a decorative front verandah and a large hipped roof with dormers on the opposite side of each other - front and back. The registration includes the footprint of the building.

The house is one of the best perserved examples of the Edwardian era homes built by local architect, George Gard. The building was erected in 1908 for the Waugh family. Willard Waugh was a prominent Alberton businessman and an early Island pharmacist. The house remained in the family for 87 years. The current structure is in excellent condition and operates as an inn.
